Modbus RTU Module MR-AIO4/2-IP, 4 configurable resistance or voltage inputs, 2 analog outputs, IP65

The Modbus module in an IP65 enclosure, featuring 4 individually configurable resistance or voltage inputs and 2 analog outputs, was designed for decentralized applications. The inputs are suitable for measuring resistance and voltage from, for example, passive and active temperature sensors, electric ventilation and mixing dampers, valve positions, etc. The outputs are suitable as control signals for, e.g., electric ventilation and mixing dampers, valve positions, etc. Via a Modbus master, the inputs can be universally configured using standard registers, and the outputs can be set. The module address, baud rate, and parity are set via two rotary switches or via software. The Modbus module features two integrated PID controllers that can be used, among other things, for room control. The PID controller settings are configured via the Modbus registers and can be found in the Modbus manual at www.metz-connect.com. When using the METZ CONNECT Modbus gateway MR-GW, settings can be configured more quickly and conveniently via the graphical interface of the built-in web server.
