Description:
The fan timer relay was specifically designed to control two-speed motors. The start-up and shut-off delays are separate and continuously adjustable. Control is performed using a two-stage switch. The two mutually interlocked outputs are used to control the motor contactors. Functionality:
1. When stage 2 is selected directly, stage 1 is first switched on for the set start-up time, allowing the fan to accelerate to its rated speed. Stage 2 is then activated.
2. When switching from stage 2 back to stage 1 or to the OFF position, a shutdown delay is triggered so that the fan can coast to a stop before stage 1 is activated.
3. If Stage 1 has already been active for at least the set startup time, the switch to Stage 2 occurs immediately. When switching from Stage 1 to Stage 2, the interruption must not exceed 250 ms. If this time is exceeded, the sequence proceeds as described in point 1.
